Football legends Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher have torn Liverpool apart following their “absolutely shambolic” loss at the hands of Brentford.
Liverpool were lucky to go into the halftime break only 2-0 down after the buzzing Bees tore them to shreds.
While things looked better in the second half they weren’t able to show off any of their previous dominance as they ultimately fell 3-1.
A series of defensive blunders cost the Reds dearly and seriously damaged their bid for a top four finish in the Premier League.

Brentford had two goals disallowed in the opening half as Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could only watch on in stunned amazement.
During the halftime show Richards and Carragher stuck the boots into the previously formidable Liverpool.
“Brentford are absolutely buzzing,” Richards said.
“Liverpool held that ridiculously high line and Brentford exploited it.
“It’s been really poor from Liverpool.
“I’ve been flabbergasted by the effort of Liverpool, there is no organisation, no concentration.
“I said before the game that I thought Liverpool were back to their best but they have been awful in that first half.”
Fellow pundit Carragher added: “Liverpool have had problems all season against teams that have intensity and aggression.
“It looks like an ageing team coming to an end, and that was shambolic.”
Following the loss Carragher said the Liverpool owners needing to splash the cash at the transfer deadline to fix their damning issues in the midfield.
“Liverpool year in, year out, have sold someone, bought someone, but I think this is a case of now Liverpool need to spend about £200 million ($A354m),” he said on Sky Sports.
“ … Liverpool have bought one midfield player in four-and-a-half years. It’s come back to haunt them now.
“When I watch Liverpool now, it seems they are morphing into something else: a technical team … people keep talking about Jude Bellingham. Liverpool haven’t got a problem going forward. It’s actually a midfielder player to stop the opposition going through them.
“Fabinho is getting older. Jordan Henderson doesn’t have the energy any more. James Milner … Liverpool’s transfer committee have been lauded more than any scouting network in world football. This is on them.”
Klopp took aim at the officials in his post-game press conference, but fans watching on had the knives out for Liverpool.
